Pray for Jen in Nicaragua

by Jason Bollinger on January 15th, 2016

As #linksfamily...when one of us goes to the nations, we all go. I'd like to take you to Nicaragua for a moment. The Foster family is from a great church in Texas who has commissioned them to Nicaragua. They have been there several years and are active in community outreach/development in several different areas where they are bringing GOOD NEWS to hundreds of people in poverty every single week.

They do feeding programs, they do healing prayer, they care for the elderly, they educate and advocate for children, they are involved in education, and they partner with local churches. The list could go actually go on and on. They are doing great work.

Early this week we received word from Phil, Jen's husband, that Jen was in the hospital suffering from an aneurysm. I would like to ask you to pray for her and their family. In the last few days she has been transferred from one hospital to another and has now been tested and treated for some of the symptoms. Today at noon she will have surgery to repair the brain bleeding

This is a serious condition anywhere in the world, but sometimes having surgery in the developing world can have additional risks. Would you pray for Jen this morning in preparation for her surgery this afternoon? Obviously their work in Nic is affected by this illness, and their finances are impacted as well as it is expensive to be treated medically.

A Go Fund Me site has been set-up to make donations to help invest in the health of this missionary family. If you would like to help out financially, here is the link: https://www.gofundme.com/sxbt3es4  .

I am traveling to Nicaragua next month to further develop a long term strategy with our partners there. One Journey for Him (The Fosters) is one we are looking forward to working with. Our thoughts and prayers for healing are with the Fosters during this time. Thank you for joining with us.

For the Kingdom,
