Church Love

by Jason Bollinger on July 1st, 2015

Here at Links, we have a lot of love for THE CHURCH! It is truly an honor to partner with wonderful congregations to work together to take Good News to the ends of the earth. Partnership is only truly partnership if it works to the benefit of both partners. It is not our desire to only be on the receiving end of mission partnerships. We love the opportunity to invest back into the church families who invest into us.

Last Sunday I had the privilege of preaching at Crossbridge Church in Sugar Land, and for the next three weeks we will be filling in for our friends at New Beginnings Bible Church in North Houston. Our desire is to always work in close relationship with our partners both in the nations and here at home. Being engaged with local churches is incredibly important as we believe The Church is the vessel for mission.

At the end of the service Sunday, we met a young family from Tanzania who is connected to a church not far from where we have international partners. As we talked, they expressed a need for some of the community development training that we provide. It never gets old watching how connections just happen when we are faithful to go where God calls us to go. In this case, serving a local church opened up a door for expanded Kingdom work. Because of our relationship, this connection won't be an added responsibility the church has to look into or facilitate. It's something we are thrilled to do! We are happy to absorb some of the work load of facilitating International Mission for the local church.

We have so much love and respect for local churches. As a part of the Links Family, we would love to connect with your church family (if we haven't already). We are available to dialogue about mission strategy with leaders, speak to your church congregation on missional engagement, to fill in for a pastor who is out, or to lead worship when you need it. There are many ways we can serve your church, and we would be honored to partner together.

If you're a pastor or church leader, feel free to contact me anytime. If you're not a pastor or church leader, please feel free to pass my info on to anyone who is. We believe there are more and more Kingdom connections out there, and we love being a part of them. We have some Sundays open this Fall and would love to come see you. Let us know how we can serve you.

We would love your prayers for us as we are in a busy season of serving churches. Please also let us know if there are any ways that we can be praying for you and/or your church.

For the Kingdom,
